How much is admission and what does it cover? Admission is $10. The SoWa Winter Festival is a whole experience, and as we do not have large corporate sponsors, the admission fee is used toward the operation of the festival (20+ staff at all times, décor, activations, entertainment, cleaning, trash removal, etc.) between the Winter Festival at the Power Station and the Food Truck Bazaar. Since this is an indoor market, we are also responsible for utilities (heat!), water & sewer, electricity, and City of Boston real estate taxes. Implementing this fee allows us to charge less to the local vendors than other competing markets on a per date basis. Any leftover funds are used towards other free neighborhood and community events such as the SoWa Open Market (every Sunday from May through October) and SoWa First Friday which are free of charge to attend.
- What else is there to do in the area?
- You can visit our Artist Studios and galleries, vintage market, and a collection of retail shops that are only a 3-minute walk down the road (450 Harrison Ave.)
