Sidewalk Astronomy with The Science Boutique

Winter skies are some of the best for observing celestial bodies and with an early sunset, it’s the perfect time to break out our telescope! Join us outside the SoWa Power Station to observe Saturn and Jupiter and other deep sky objects from 6 pm to 6:30 pm – weather permitting.

Sky Candle Candle and Diffuser Workshop
Monday, December 9th
Time: 5pm – 8pm At our mobile custom candle bar located on the mezzanine level of the Sowa winter festival you will be able to create bespoke, one of a kind candles and diffusers from over 20 fragrance choices! The process is about 30-45 minutes for all products. Once your candle is poured, it will need to set for 2-3 hours before it is ready to go home (our reed diffuser options can be taken with you immediately).
